Spectator

A continuation of my "Combustion" series, which features hundreds of French knots, layered in various sizes and colors to build dimension and movement onto the vintage photographs.

Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the photograph, using French cotton embroidery thread and American hand-dyed silk thread. 

The vintage photograph measures about 5"x7" and will ship in a complimentary frame with a clear plexiglass back so that the reverse side of the artwork can also be seen. The piece will be signed and dated on the back in pencil.

Please note: As this is a vintage photo, there is some wear and damage on the edges of the photograph, including pasted paper along the bottom edge, as seen in the product images.
