Created in memory of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The piece reflects the deconstructed flag (six white stripes trailing behind her), fifty stars blooming across her chest, and seven red strands free-flowing from her hands. The Prussian blue in the piece is created naturally from the cyanotype printing process.
Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the cyanotype (printed on watercolor paper), using French cotton embroidery thread.
The piece measures about 5.5"x8" and is unframed. The piece will be signed and dated on the back.
The proceeds of prints made from this original will be donated to the ACLU, in honor of RBG.
